The family of an autistic teen who died after 10 hours in custody of the Montgomery County Jail is speaking out.

Isaiah Trammell’s mother and sister joined other members from the community to rally at the Montgomery County Commission meeting Tuesday.

Trammell’s mother and sister called the actions of the jail “inexcusable,” and demanded immediate change.

He suffered from serious head trauma by banging his head up against the cement walls and the door itself from when he had a meltdown. His death was ruled as a suicide.

There's no way that's suicide. This is not normal "freak out" behaviour, any officer should have known that and worked to get him help. It's negligent homicide.
