Baby's Body Found on Sydney Beach

Two boys (aged 6 and 7) have found the body of a baby found under 30cm on sand on a beach in Sydney.
Due to the state of decomposition the child's age and gender is yet to be determined. But even so, so sad.

It also sounds as though there are suspicions that a child and mother have both met foul play, given the article saying 'The child had no blankets with it. There are grave concerns for the wellbeing of the child’s mother.'
Though, it's possible I suppose too that they may just be talking of her mental health.

Sydney police confirmed the discovery at a media conference around 1.15pm and said the children and parents involved in this morning’s events were receiving counselling from the surf life saving club.

Glad that the boys are receiving counselling after find this dead baby.

Sounds to me like it may have been a teenage girl who gave birth and didn't want the baby. Hopefully the poilce will get some information from the CCTV footage and be able to identify who did this.
