Do you have any bad dating experiences you would like to share?

If not, maybe you have heard about some from your friends?

I have had one horrific experience, though not because either of us did anything wrong, just because she needed something from me I tried to give her, for her, and I just plain couldn't. It was so bad it caused me to not sleep for the next four days and then the inevitable breakup...

lol when I used Tinder, the women looked nothing like their profile pictures. They used old pictures from 10 years ago or they would use apps to doctor their photos to make them look skinnier. There's been a few dates where I just wanted to run away. But I would stick it out and then go home and ignore their phone calls and texts the next day. They'd eventually get the hint I wasn't interested.

One time I was going to meet up with a girl from MySpace. She looked nothing like her picture. We still hung out that day and had a good time but it never led to anything else. We were still friends on MySpace after that for as long as that platform lasted. We chatted every once in a while but never really hung out again in person and never hooked up.

Catfished, eh? That's a tough one, but glad you were able to stay friends for a bit!

Yeah she wasn't a bad person. The picture was of her, just from a million years ago and she looked nothing like that when I met her. There was just no sparks when we hung out, perhaps me being mislead helped contribute to that.

Totally understandable, and yeah, I imagine the feeling of being mislead, if only slightly, could easily have contributed to things not working out.

I have not considering I've only been on one date my entire life and she is a pretty easy-going person that made it pleasant.

I had a bad dating experience. It was me who paid for the food, my bf told me he ran out of cash. I junked him instantly. I felt so discouraged. He invited me to dine but was unable to pay for the food. Bad shot.

He should have just cancelled the date and rescheduled when he had the means to take you out. He's the one who invited you out after all, he should pay for the dinner. It was his idea in the first place.

Yes, that was so ridiculous. The reason of the guy was so shallow notwithstanding it discouraged me to the bones.

being a teenager or pre teen 'dating' always had bad experiences. do those relationships even count? they always were off and on again with the ones I did have.
