I think you are purposely missing his point and filling in what you want it to be because you know the current administration is beyond incompetent.
No I get his point and that's why I'm calling him out on it.
I'd rather they catch more of them than not...and yes, I get the incompetence part but part of that problem lies with the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue (a/k/a Congress) who've dillied and dallied on immigration for decades now.

No, but it should be law they never can be citizens or get government benefits of any kind. There needs to be ZERO benefits to breaking the law to come here.

Absolutely! You can’t keep making exceptions after exceptions. People have to know you get nowhere if you break the law.
Tell that to cops and prosecutors who have to make decisions on (a) who to ticket, (b) who to arrest and when and (c) who to prosecute.
