Baltimore to put cameras in police vans, review riot gear

Yes and I am sure the police thought prohibition was going to work out fantastically when it was put into law also. And we saw how that turned out. We will pay for the unseen consequences of this action in the future.

It is another freedom taken away and no benefits from it is worth that loss.

even if for some odd reason you get pulled over and beat up or shot unjustly and video footage evidence helped put that cop away for doing that to you?

or would you rather not have the video proof so the cop can go free?

What does prohibition have to do with this? We're not banning anything. We're simply asking that this form of employment be monitored like others because it is a dangerous job and often times can be the word of one party against the other.

I will take the risk thanks.

It was a law many people including police thought was a fantastic idea and stop people from drinking and decrease violence. But they never saw the unintended consequences of there actions when they take a freedom away just like they won't see it from this decision.

That was one rule that everyone agreed was fucking stupid and is not like asking cops to wear cameras that aren't even pointed at them. Hell, they have cameras in their cruisers anyway. Do you protest that? They're already being "watched" to a degree. This just increases the degree in which they're being monitored, as well as citizens who might not do something if they knew they were being recorded.

No, not everyone including the people in charge of the police around the country thought banning booze was stupid.

Yes I protest that because it led to the slippery slope of now having cameras on the bodies of cops. The illegal cameras at red lights. The cameras being mounted on every street corner. You wait next the government will say for own safety we are going to have cameras mounted in neighborhoods so every privately owned home is being monitored for "our safety", no thank you for any of it.

I don't know exactly where you live, but I don't see cameras mounted on every street corner. You might wanna check into finding a house in the middle of nowhere so you can avoid being watched by the gubment. I hear Antarctica is pretty.

I do not live in Orlando but most of my work is there but if you Google Orlando city controlled cameras and you will see just how many there are. Or any major city in America for that matter. But again people never see the bad outcome of these decisions until it is too late.

That seems to be a you problem, TL. Find a place to live in that isn't controlled by the government if you care so much about it.

Yes that would be a goal of a free and I independent Florida. But until that day will always fight against these aggressions toward my freedoms.
