Where have you been?

It is already banned in most government controlled public spaces, including some parks, downtown streets, and on the grounds of any state or federal buildings.

don't worry, nanny will take care of you, in spite of yourself.

should be banned completely..........

Maybe in the USA.

But here it's only under cover.

I hate walking through a bunch of smoke clouds whenever I'm downtown.

No because that would cause severe riots and would give money and power to criminal gangs... but then again unlike during Prohibition we have a top notch police force, swat teams etc...

Public opinion would be much against prohibition on alcohol, with smoking in public however, the vast majority would support the ban. (Democracy majority rules)

It hasn't here.

thank god!

The state is looking out for the interest of the people. The majority oppose smoking in public places and it isn't against the constitution to ban it.

Smoking needs to just go away. Tobacco is terrible and if you smoke weed, use a bong and don't do it in public.

You can't smoke and not harm your body.

You can drink alcohol and do no harm to yourself or others. My parents have done that their entire lives. They drink wine and beer, but I have never seen them drunk.

All right.

That's probably partly down to history and ethics and partly how much money they bring in.

[quote name='Temerit'] Just like comparing Cannabis and Cigarettes... One kills millions that's legal yet the other doesn't but It's Illegal... Can you say, does that make any damn sense or what?

thing is if you are a smoker who also smokes canabis you are even more likely to die of smoking related illnesses.........the reason being cos you inhale more deeply to get the maximum hit therefore drawing the tabboco smoke that much further into your system

tobacco users = fools

drug users = weak minded fools

you miss my point

people who smoke weed inhale deeper to get the hit

even when they are smoking just tobacco they will still inhale deeper cos it has become a habit

the deeper you inhale the greater the negative effects of the tobacco

people who smike weed tend to smoke regular ciffies too

and so you know.............both my father and father in law died from cancer/emphysema caused by smoking, my mother in law ended up with a triple heart by pass due to smoking, i had a cousin who smoked weed a lot but also experimented with other drugs and eventually od and died

yes i should say smoking should be forbidden in public as it do harm not only to the smoker but also those around him. in addition, smoking will cost you a lost money, the figure for a sigle packing may not be impressive, but it could be surprisingly impressive in total

i never said he od on canabis.............he smoked canabis and that led him on to other narcotics which did kill him

i disagree..........id ask my family member who started off smoking it and ended up using all sorts of stuff but unfortunatly hes dead............if he hadnt experienced the highs of weed he wouldnt have experimented further

Marijuana is much more often a terminus rather than a gateway drug..
