What should people be ashamed of for not knowing how to do?

How to remain quiet. I don't even necessarily mean to just be respectful of other people and not making a lot of noise. I mean some people just have to say something, especially in bad situations. Just shut the heck up.

This quote comes to mind:
"Speak only if it improves upon the silence."

-Mahatma Gandhi

Interrupting the conversation when other people are involved. However if this happens with people who have the Aspergers condition, this might lead to them speaking to themselves. Which is something I hate too.
