Bear kills British boy in Arctic

Earlier this year the governor's office warned people about bear attacks after several were spotted near Longyearbyen.

These people should have not been there to begin with. It's unfortunate that a life was taken and several injured. It's also unfortunate that a polar bear was shot to death while in it's own habitat. If you want to ignore warnings, then this is the result.

This makes me so angry when people don't heed warnings

or just don't use their common sense - then something like

this happens.

Yes it's very sad and unfortunate that a life has been lost and

others have been injured, but it wouldn't have happened if they'd

taken notice of the warnings. As it is that bear has been killed for

being a wild creature in it's own habitat.
