Being Sick

Don't you just hate being sick? I know it's fun to miss school and all, but it just sucks.



I'm currently have a cough, and my throat hearts.

It does suck even though you gotta miss school/work/whatever. I also still get told to go to work sick though by my parents. I think that is plain retarded.

I'm a server, so it's kind of frowned upon to go to work sick. But I do enjoy not going to school.

I hate being sick. Happens all the time because I work around kids.

No, I do not like it at all. When I was in elementary school, I missed every day possible, but never faked sick. Now in high school, I go even if I am sick to make sure I do not have to take exams (if you are not absent, you are exempted).

Sucks, but I'm almost over it now. Still can't hear very well.

I love pulling a sickie, but being actually sick and at home is worse than being at school and healthy. So I try to be moderately ill and not contagious when I'm at school, but healthy when I fake sick...

I'm actually sick with a cold right now. It's hard for me to even fake getting sick. Once it's noticable, it's noticeable. I actually just called and left my job coach a voicemail asking her if she can have our main boss take me off the schedule for today. Might still do my other meeting since that is only supposed to be an hour. We'll see what I feel like this afternoon. I hate thisi time of year.

I felt so ill today. Think i ate something dodgy last night. Missed work today but i have to make it up in the week :/

Went to the dr today. 98.9 degree temp. Inflammation (SP?) of the throat. Surprised I wasn't put in... Taking tomorrow off work for sure and if I still feel crappy Wednsday I may have to take that off too. Hate this time of year. I think our thermometer might be shot because I took my temp this morning and it was 97 something. I didn't think that was right.

I just woke up, and threw up.

Am now taking the rest of the week off. Still not feeling that great. Actually, a social worker at the hospital said that I probably should, being as I have a weak immune system. May be on off and on over the next couple days, depending on what I feel like.

UGH, now I'm sick.. My stomach keeps aching, I feel like I have a fever..



I just took something that'll help reduce my fever. If I don't feel better by tomorrow morning I am calling into work. I took a nap for probably about 4 hours.

Yeah, somethings going around, that's for sure. I still feel like crap, although I think that might be the cold weather we're having. Eew.

I'm actually feeling better right now! I'm not so stuffed up, my appetites coming back, and I actually felt like going back to work tomorrow, until I remembered it was Friday, and we don't normally work weekends.

I must really be tired of sitting around the house if I want to go back to work so badly.

I hope not - my cousin's having her 6th birthday party on Saturday and I'm basically in charge of it (it's a sleepover).

Yeah, that's how I am too when it comes to important events that I have to attend. I don't mind getting sick after the event is done (because by then I won't have to worry about it anymore!

) but if I get sick one to two days before the event, then I get a little ticked off, especially if it was an event that I was looking forward to going to.
