What is THE best fast food item?

Is it cheeseburgers? tacos? fries? shakes? What is the single best item you could order from your favorite fast food restaurant?

Shouldn't you have posted that question in "laugh lounge"?

Shouldn't you just answer my question? :P

When you use the word best with fast food, there is no logical answer.

Y'all are so difficult

I'll say the cheeseburger, can't beat a classic like that.

Well, you can beat a cheeseburger from that "you want fries with that?" place, with a cheeseburger from a place where the meat tastes like meat and they use cheese that at some point in its life was a cow's breakfast instead of something out of a chemistry book.

Wasn't talking about "chemistry book" cheeseburgers in the first place :P
Some fast food places are locally owned and use good ingredients. Not sure I'd trust national chains to be all natural though.

Hope they're not made with this beef.

Hard to been thick cut deep dried pork chops.

Maybe chicken marinated in Italian Dressing for a couple of hours and then slow cooked over charcoal.

Spice rubbed beef steak that is then browned in butter so the outside is crispy and the inside is still bright red.

Blackened fish fillet by somebody that knows how to do it right.

Yeah. Those.

You can get that from a fast food place in your area? Cool :highfive:

Fast. Food.

I could take any of them from 'take the raw meat out of the fridge' to 'sit down and eat' (if the cooking appliance is ready to go) BEFORE the teenybopper behind the counter could get your order right at some of the places around here, and it would be better Real Food than what you got.

To me, that counts.

True story time.

When my daughters were in school, I accompanied their classes as a chaperone on several occasions, and they got to look forward to it for one reason if no other.

I knew how to get good food on the road.

Usually the bus would pull into a 'shopping center / strip mall' type place where there were a couple of 'fast food' places, and usually a grocery store of some type.

I'd take them and we'd hit the store while the entire busload, or two, of people lined up six deep at the 'you want fries with that' place.

We'd check out the deli, and if that didn't look good, we'd swing by the lunch meat section, and get some Kings Hawaiian rolls, and a small jar of 'sandwich spread', and some munchie stuff and head back to the bus. It was always better, and usually cheaper and faster.

Oh, and we ALWAYS got what we ordered and paid for!

No, but do go on replying to this topic several more times without ever actually answering the question at hand here. Seems to be the trend.
