What is the best purchase you've ever made and why?

Haha...I dunno, my video game consoles, maybe. A lot of purchases I've made have been the best purchases I've ever made, so there's too many to count!

Never really bought any thing substantial enough to qualify, I don't think.

Without a doubt, it's my home. No mortgage and no rent being paid to someone else for something I don't own. Only have to pay for the upkeep and taxes.

I hope one day I'll be able to do this, but it's looking like it's a far off dream at this point.
