What do you like best about forums?

What do you dislike the most about forums?

Best: Chatting with people. I love to read all the different opinions and point of views people have on different subjects.

Worst: Idiot attention seekers trying to stir up drama and ruin everyone elses good time!

Best: Meeting people from all over the world. Building friendships and I also like to read what's happening in their part of the world. I have learned so much about different cultures and would never have had that opportunity in RL.

getting to know ppl from around the globe and learning stuff off each other (i honestly think that when you have a large global forum you get a better view of the world than just off the news/tv....i know of one mod in the us who has admitted he gets funny looks at work when he starts talking about subjects like drought in australia or the rugby world cup or german politics

Always made me feel good that someone actuaally cares what I'm doing or cares to follow me. It's a forum so a stalker on here can only know what you let them know.

That's not exactly true if they know how to do the digging for the right information.



In that case a true stalker could end up knocking on your front door.

The best thing about forums is just meeting so many interesting people. It's a great way to socialise for people like me, who is shy in real life.



The worst thing would probably be the idiots, but that's par for the course.

Drama, trolls and know it alls make me want to leave a forum. I have enough drama and stress in my life to deal with it in my supposed relaxing off-time.

How the hell can you stay active at ZNB then?

I dunno, it's funny sometimes but it gets old fast. I wouldn't want drama on my own board though.
