Better or Worse?

Do you think that it would be good for the planet if we had a huge disease that killed off like half the planet's population? (If anyone has ever read The Stand by Stephen King, that's the kind of situation I'm talking about) I know it would be sad if it was your family, but wouldn't it be better to kill off the humans who are holding us back as it were? I read the above mentioned book and thought that I'd ask your guys's opinions.

Well it would be better for the earth if there were no humans at all. All we are doing is killing this thing.

I say no because I would rather not kill 3 billion people. I wouldn't kill a single person let alone 3 billion. This is a very scary question imo.

Reading the topic post, I'm also saying no. How can you decide for someone else who is in the top half? I'm pro-Euthanasia, but definitely against this.
