The president of the United States tripping and falling is never a good moment in the throes of a re-election campaign. But when the president is 80 years old and already faces concerns that he’s too old for another term, it’s something of a crisis.

Joe Biden’s aides realized they had a problem last month when the president tripped over a sandbag — hard — at the Air Force Academy’s graduation ceremony. Afterward, during a post-event recap, a few aides tried to figure out what may have gone wrong and how to make sure that such an embarrassing and dangerous incident “never happens again,” according to two people familiar with the discussion.

“You can’t be too careful,” one said.

I read the article. This part really stuck out and made me laugh my ass off.

"Either he doesn’t have anything to say or his team is worried about what he might say or how he’d say it," said a veteran Democratic campaign operative, adding that Biden should have given a national address after recent retaliatory strikes in the Middle East. “Regardless, it’s a problem.”

OK, one is unfit to serve due to dementia, the other is unfit to serve due to being mentally unstable.

And both are their party's presumed nominee.

I'll drink to that.

Of course they both might end up dying before the election happens.

Well something is going on with him. He's had too many falls...I mean he could be falling prone but....🤔🤔🤔 something is going on...said a lot of questionable stuff.

@Webster : Do you have a REALLY GOOD "facepalm" GIF?

'They've both got pyramids': Biden gaffe sparks memes

Egypt and Mexico are separated by thousands of miles of ocean and desert, with vastly different languages, cuisines, politics and cultures.

But as citizens in both countries rose to read the news on Friday morning, some unified behind a common sense of puzzlement - and in some cases levity - at US President Joe Biden.

At a contentious Thursday night news conference aimed at defending his cognitive abilities from detractors, Mr Biden inadvertently referred to Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi as the "president of Mexico".

The comment, which came hours after the findings of a report into Mr Biden's handling of declassified documents were released, quickly set social media in both countries ablaze.

Well all those politicians without dementia are screwing things up basically so maybe one with dementia could get things right.

There has to be a better democrat than Biden.
