Which color of pen do you use often: black or blue?

For me, I use black since that makes my handwritting look more elegant.

I use a black fine point pen.

I prefer Blue, It doesn't smudge as much and for some reason my handwriting looks neater.
I do have to use Black pens at work though.

Blue, usually. I've used plenty of black pens as well.
I don't generally care, so long as it works :P

The shape of the pen is more important!

^ same here, especially with my tremors in my hands, I seem to always drop them. My favourite pens are the triangular shape ones.

I have a fountain pen that's rather nice, unfortunately it ran out of ink. I should find some :|

:panic: How will you ever go on now?

True story here.

Over the years I have been given several fancy pens. Some are shiny metal, others are something else, many of them are larger than usual, and some are rather heavy, like the one that was made of some sort of ceramic.

Such as when I retired last year, one of the gifts was from the Verizon account team, it included a nice "Vz" shirt and some other things, and an ink pen made of titanium or something. It's not a pen, it's a deadly weapon. But.... OK.

As always, I was gracious and thanked them.

And then I give my wife the fancy pen. She likes them.

I Can Not Write with a 'fancy pen'. If it is larger than usual, triangular, slick, or heavy, it simply does not work for me.

I'm better off with.... .... well, "the free one from the bank".
