Blacklist

Do you have some sort of topic or something similar to blacklist some forums from being advertised? Is it used often? So far we have blacklisted two forums.

We don't have anything of the sort. And I suppose if we did, it would probably only be sites that were advertising porn or warez images or something.

I don't have this either. This sounds like something you would only find on an advertising forum or a board that had such a section on it for plugging your board.

I agree. Something that would have the thing of Sites You Should Avoid or something like that. As the heading, I mean.

Not advertising related, but I have I a blacklisted discussion.



That is religion debates. It gets ugly fast and creates a bunch of drama. This is the one topic that can possibly tear apart and divide an otherwise happy community.

Many times it leads to people never coming back or getting themselves banned because they feel so passionately about their beliefs that they will start to retaliate and jump on the ones that disagreed with them in every other thread on the forum.



Ive seen it many times before. Just not worth the headache.

I have blacklisted discussions, members and forums.



I also blacklist IPs or proxys.

Never had to black list a site in my entire life. Most of the members would just leave or have the respect and behave lol. I am lucky sometimes.
