Yeah, many times i've been in this situation, i wouldn't be here if Credit Cards didn't exist.

I used to do this when I was younger, back when I first got a job. It didn't take much to blow my whole paycheck since I was only part time at a grocery store and only bringing home around $170 after taxes/union fees a week... Though this was back when I lived with my parents and my dad was unemployed. There were only a few times I blew my check on video games, most of the time the money went towards other things.

I've always saved my checks, got it to the point where I can spend half my pay check and still keep half to put into savings.

I've been treating myself a lot more this year, because I figure why not? ?

New car, new TV, new PC (if it ever arrives - lost in the post), new phone.. Yeah, I think I'll try and calm the spending again for a few months!

Obvious delays from COVID-19 related stuff. I hope that our friend has the possibility of a refund if the worst happens.
