I loved to read and still do. I would have loved a book instead of candy. A coloring book or sticker book would be cool too!

With all the nut cases in this world, I would trust a book over candy any day.

I agree on both points. They're getting candy from everywhere else so why not mix it up? I think its a good idea. Wouldn't it be cool if trick or treating wasn't just about candy?

I loved reading as a kid so I would have loved to have gotten a book as a treat. I'm 100% sure my siblings wouldn't have been able to hide their displeasure at being given one though.
