Boring Work Day

Today I had to attend a stupid class / workshop thing for work. It was about identifying asbestos and learning about /preventing other occupational hazards. It was sooooo boring and it was 7 hours long. The instructor was like 70 years old and talked really slow. I fell asleep for like a second and he came and slammed his hand down on the table.. Then volunteered me to stand up in front of everyone so he could demonstrate something..

I was like jumping for joy when it was all over. I wanted to shoot myself during this thing.

Yeah and they only gave us a 15 minute lunch I didnt have time to go get something to eat. They had snacks but it was just fruit and water.. Not very filling at all. So not only was I bored out of my mind but I was starving all day. It was torture.

Aww I'm sorry, Nebulous. I fell asleep in history today...but we were only watching a movie about the Korean War, so it was okay.

He just told me to stop falling asleep.



Second day in a row...

We had to take stupid quizes too when they finished covering a topic.

He would grab random people's tests and use them as a guide to go over the answers. Luckily when he grabbed mine, that was the only quiz I got all the answers right on.. So he complimented me in front of the whole group.

Oh and at the end they gave everyone Lottery tickets (like real ones you buy from the gas station), I didnt win anything but I guess those were the two highlights of the boringest day ever.

Wow, sounds like you had quite an interesting day. Hope it goes better for you tomorrow! And yeah, oranges and water = really not that filling. They're an okay snack if you're going to eat again two hours later, but not if you're going to be doing something else all day.

Well tomorrow I dont have to sit in a stupid training thing all day so it will be better.

That's about how it was today in class. Nothing bad happened, just nothing exciting occurred.

That does sound awful, Nebulous. I'd probably ask somebody for a gun right in the middle of it all, the fruit and water would certainly be the last straw.



And I thought high school was boring...
