We've all been scolded for letting one rip at an inopportune moment by those who obviously don't appreciate the refined subtleties of flatulence humor.

But has one of your farts ever been so forceful that you received a formal reprimand for it? Even better, has one ever made the news? No? Then you've just been outdone by an 11-year-old boy.

Christian Summers was traveling back to his Cleveland home on the school bus recently, when he let one slip, which, understandably, made him laugh.

However, the bus driver didn't find his antics amusing and gave him a discipline warning and an hour of detention.

Christian's parents said they thought the punishment stunk (sorry) so bad that they went to the local TV news station ... which, in turn, ran a two-minute report on the fart and its fallout (not like that).

Keep reading to watch the amazing report, during which it's revealed that Christian now fears his flatulence.

The poor lad couldn't help it. I would have laughed to

He's a little kid, of course, he's likely to laugh at something like that and either way, he can't control it obviously, thus making this entire scenario idiotic.

Couldn't the bus driver wind down his window? Or is it just easier to give the poor boy a detention instead?

Really!

We do get in trouble for ridiculous crap as kids.

I remember being sent to the principals office for catching the drips coming off the roof icecycles. The lunch lady stared screaming You get over here now!

I didn't realize she was talking to me at first because I'm not one to get in trouble.

She wrote the slip and sent me to the office and I started crying not ralizing what I did wrong.

The secretary went over to me asking me what was wrong. I told her the story and she said, Oh it's ok. Now you know better...

She sent me back to the playground after making me promise not to do it again.

When I got back I found all my friends had gotten detention for doing that, and I was the only one who didn't.

Slow news day?

I think Kahnai's story is much more newsworthy personally.

You're right the original story really stunk!
