Site Name: Bricks and Books

Site url: http://bricksandbooks.co.uk

Description: Bricks and Books is a fansite for adults who enjoy collecting and building Lego or reading and collecting Discworld books and Memorabilia. Better still it is a fantastic place if you are into both.

The new site was launched on the 1st January 2012 with the aim to become a great place to read daily posts on both subjects as well as all the latest news from both LEGO and Sir Terry Pratchett.

So all the is left to say is we hope you enjoy the site

I am likin' the look of the place man.

Thank you Sci, I was handed the keys to the new theme on Friday then it took me till later Sunday night to get the site changed over with the new look, still got a few things to iron out.

The site looks good, if a little cluttered, but besides that really nice.

Thanks for the feedback, do you feel the home page is cluttered or the whole site, as it is still a work in progress any feedback good or back is welcomed.

Seven days is a long time on the net and tonight saw the site hit 50 blog posts, with the 2nd part of the Colour of Magic DVD review. Also I am pleased to announce the site has a Google page rank of 3 already, not bad to say we are still only 5 weeks old today.

If you like Books or Lego please check out our site today.

I saw that movie, it's a shame they left out quite a bit, but the parts they did leave in stuck to the books quite well.

Anyway, congrats!

I agree evil eye I am looking forward to reviewing the next one soon.

The site has just updated to the latest version of Gantry and at the same time we have tweaked the theme.

I know I'm a little lat,e but congrats on that man!

I know for most it may not be a major milestone but earlier today, my blog & fansite Bricks & Books hit 100 blog posts. What is so good about it is that the site has only be online since the 1st of July 2011. Not only that nearly all blog posts have at least 300 words on them.

Also we have over 370 comments on our site. This is great as when I first launched it raised a few eyebrows saying it was a weird combo but it is getting regular traffic from both sets of fans, we get sent press releases from both LEGO and also Sir Terry Pratchett's agent and we have also been given prototype games to test and more.

So if you have a fondness for either LEGO if like me you are an AFOL or if you are into books and enjoy the Discworld series then check our Bricks & Books today.

Congrats on everything! Really soundin' like Bricks and Books is turning into a great success!

Thanks pal it is doing ok thanks, just need to find the time to build the rest of the site

Weekly update, the site is doing very well and got plenty of exposure last week, when we were the first site to break the news with regards to the Pudsey LEGO set.

We now have over 120 blog posts and over 450 comments.
