I have had this little wart thing on my knuckle for about a month or so now.

It doesnt hurt, It doesnt itch, Its not scabby, It's just there!

My mum saw it last night and flipped saying I need to get it looked at, Poking and prodding it.. That's sure to help it alot, whatever it is.

I just got to work and looked up the symtoms of Skin Cancer. I feel sick now.

* begin to show signs of healing and yet never quite heal

* look like a flat, red spot, which is scaly and crusty.

* be smooth and pearly

Its not bright red but it is red, its not crusty but is kind of smooth.

My mums put it into my head now that i've got skin cancer.

It is probably just a wart and you are over-reacting. Just go see the doctor and they can tell you for sure.

Yea, I'm going to book an appointment for tomorrow.. I hate going to the doctors. Always expect the worst. Always try and avoid them

I sympathise with you, I have/had a phobia of doctors which I've been working on for the last few years. I hope you got an appointment though, cos if you're like me, thinking about having to go will make you feel 10 times worse when you do actually go.

I have a picture somewhere with some examples of what skin cancer looks like.

I'll try and find it for you cause from what you have described, it doesnt sound like how any of the pictures looked.
