Some people I know, this seems to be their hobby. Annoying other people for their own amusement.

No but I know plenty of people like this.
 
I sometimes do it on purpose when I find the other person to be annoying.

I do take the piss out of some people, but it's all in good fun and the other person laughs about it too.
 
People have always said that if theyre bugging you, they like you as a person. Me, I troll my friends ALL the time. Sometimes it can be hilarious lol.
