April is Cancer Control Month -- Have you ever lost anyone special to cancer? What do you remember most about them?

I lost my mother to cancer. What do I remember most about her?

Well everything! She was not afraid to speak her mind or tell you the honest truth, even if it wasnt something you wanted to hear. She was a fighter and determined to accomplish whatever she set her mind to. She was a loving-big hearted person. I wish she was still around today.

Lost my Dad to cancer five years ago. What do I remember most about him?

He was a very brave and wonderful Dad. We did everything together and he was not only my Dad, he was my best friend. He was very strict but also very fair. He taught me to ride and he taught me to deal with whatever cards are handed to you in life. He taught me I could do anything I put my mind to and to never go down without a fight. R.I.P. Dad!

No never lost any relation from cancer and only one relation has cancer but I've never met him.

I had a cancer scare, I had a lump in my neck, turns out my glands were over active or something. Just have to know your body well i guess, and I have respect for anyone who has suffered from cancer or had anyone who has known anyone with cancer, it takes a lot of courage for you to stay strong.
