Truck. It's higher up than a car, which means you can see more, and it can come in handy if you're transporting furniture or large items. Plus, I've always wanted a truck, but not sure if I'll get one for my first car, or should I say, truck. Probably be a couple years before I get a car/truck though.

I own both a car and a truck. I prefer to drive my truck especially in the Winter months. I feel safer in my truck and as Jughead mentioned, I can transport large items. My car is really just driven if my truck has to go in for service. It's nice to have two vehicles in case one breaks down.

Car. Its cheaper on gas and more comfortable to drive.

It would be nice to have a truck but I rarely need one. Maybe I'll need one once every year or couple years to move or transport a new appliance to my home (if there is no delivery service available). There is a couple truck rental places around here where you can rent anything small pickup truck to a HUGE moving truck. Ive rented different size trucks and Ive never had to pay more than $50 (including taxes and mileage) for the day.

Car, because you don't see too many sexy 'muscle trucks', or 'sports trucks' (I'm aware of monster trucks and that there are sports trucks, but the terms are not oft-used)...and they are typically more fuel efficient.

No disrespect to trucks, it's fun to ride in a truck for some utility purposes (like driving through shallow swamps and other 4X4ing

...or, I suppose to transport things...), but they originated as a utility purpose, and they are better geared for that, than casual driving.

Though, a sad omission was made here: Where's the love for the van?!? You can't tell me no one here on Off Topix didn't note some time in either the legendary VW Vans, or some similar set-up!
