Do you find Cartoons as interesting today as you did back when you were growing up? Or find today's Cartoons lacking? Personally, I prefer older cartoons. Most of the ones you see now a days are either irritating or just not very interesting.

I think I agree with you Sci... though it might just be that I didn't see how bad they were back then

Cartoons back then are more awesome then most of what you see now a days.

Since I'm only 15, there's not much difference between now and 15 years ago, but I think cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory was better than Spongebob Squarepants simply because they didn't try as hard with graphics and kept it very simple.

Why yes! I believe they are lacking. The cartoons in my parent's generation are the best. I wish I could have grown up with those types of shows like thunder cats, the old transformers cartoon, and plenty more interesting series. Everything is much too simple nowadays, it's hard to find any amazing on going adventures you'd race home to watch!

Haha, I do have some personal favorites from my own childhood and they are still dear to my heart, they just aren't aired anymore.

In my opinion, I think they are lacking. Today's cartoons, anyway. When I was a kid I used to watch Rugrats almost every evening at about 6:30. I still have a thing for Rugrats, but only the older episodes. I kind of miss that show, really. Cartoons these days just aren't what they used to be.

I agree that cartoons these days are lacking. They need to bring back the older stuff in my opinion. They just try too hard now a days.

Well when you were younger of course you enjoyed cartoons more because you were a little kid. Now that you are older, you are going to think that most things new for kids is lame and stay attached to what you grew up with.

When todays kids get older, they are going to be the same way. Its the circle of life.

I've noticed that a lot of cartoons nowadays try to have a 3D look for a 2D TV. Unfortunately 3D in a 2D TV makes my eyes hurt
