We dont have anything like that around here at least I dont think we do. Only buisness's have camera systems around their properties.
I suppose it would be a good thing, while in public you pretty much wave any right to privacy anyway. Perhaps these cameras could solve a murder or rape and get those sorts of people off the streets before they victimize someone else.

CCTV is quite god in catching criminal and providing evidence in cases. But there's that many camera's now, that it feels slightly Big Brother.
