Do you like it when your favorite forum goes through changes/updates?

Do you like things to stay the same?

Changes/updates are a good thing IMO. The same old same old gets very boring real fast.

I guess that really depends on what's being changed. Jazzy makes a fair point, but if a change makes you want to stay away...

I don't mind any major changes or updates on a forum... just depends what that change is.

Change is good. Although some people may not like things after they are changed, they get used to the change and will even grow to like the changes after the adjustment period is over.

Other forums seem to be afraid to change anything out of fear of upsetting members. Ive learned over the years that someone will always be upset no matter what. If a change is necessary to benefit a forum in the long run, then it should be done regardless.

However there are changes that can negatively impact a community, the owner/staff should put a lot of thought into any change before making it happen.

I don't mind change, long as its done in a way that actually benefits the site and its members.

Keeping things fresh is something very required, I notice that after a couple of days, I tend to change my theme with forums like this, to keep things fresh. It seems stupid, but to a degree it brings about success.

I think it depends what the changes are.

I like forums where there is a choice of themes for members to

choose from, so that if they want a change of 'scenery' so to speak,

they can change it themselves and everyone can choose a theme

that is suitable for their needs and preferences, without it impacting

negatively on others.

I do think that if an Admin is making changes to a forum, it at least

shows they are taking an interest in it's appearance.
