To change your user name you should delete your original profile and start all over again

Some forum software's have a username history log on each members profile page. That way you can go see what names they've used in the past. We have a simple thread to keep track here.

Personally I think its fine if a member wants to change their username. If an admin restricts username changes, they might as well inform their members that they only get one avatar and signature that can never be changed either.

Some members like to reinvent themselves from time to time and change their profile to match. Or maybe they simply want to change things up to keep things fresh and interesting for themselves.

WOW. I don't think mercedes was making "just some retarded comment", as I don't believe she IS "retarded". It appears she was being "funny", since she was questioning the ability to spend Off Topixbucks to change one's screen name, which she - personally - doesn't find useful. Since changing one's screen name on an online discussion board doesn't really change one's name in real life,

she'd like the option of using her Off Topixbucks to virtually buy bigger tits, instead.

Depends on how often they do it. If it's really frequent, then it's hard to keep track and all, and it gets really ridiculous. If it's every once in a while, then okay, that's fine, whatever.

I really honestly couldn't have said it better! I see nothing wrong with changing your username, if that is what you want to be known as, go for it. Just give people like me who live purely out of habit some time to readjust, haha. Just like changing your clothes, you have a certain way you want to be seen/known, or make an impression. Or we simply just get bored of it.
