Yes and it's one of the worst feelings in the world when your trust in someone you love is totally destroyed.

I didn't see the point in trying to paper over the cracks and the thought of me becoming suspicious every time she went somewhere.



Once trust is destroyed, it can take a very long time to get it back, if ever.

I have never been cheated on that I know of. However I suspected that one girlfriend was cheating and often accused her of doing it which drove her away (I was young and immature).
