Ouch though! What do you do?

I work for Aviva. I am on Flex time so if I come in early I get to finish early. I also choose to work though my lunch.

 

[Reginald]

Aviva, my Dad worked for them when they were CGA and Norwich Union - Was Director of Tax. He looked terminally bored! You don't take lunch? Wow, suicidal.

 

[Raven]

I do have lunch, But eat it at my desk whilst still working.



I joined in September last year when it was Norwich Union. I was being made redundant at the end of the year, but my boss has found me a new job in her team

 

[Reginald]

That was good of her - You are lucky, there are no jobs anywhere at the moment! We had a vacancy here and about 300 people applied. Just a call centre thing!

 

[Raven]

Yea, I'm on an agency but even there people are struggling to find anything.

 

[Reginald]

Yeah - Agency, don't you get paid more?

 

[Raven]

Erm, not to my knowledge. I get £6.50 an hour.

 

[Reginald]

Yeah that's what the temps here get. Theres all these rumours flying around that they are meant to be though. I'm on £7.50.

 

[Raven]

I was on £6 but then it went up. I'm happy with that though, In my old job I was only getting £5.13 an hour and only given 20 hours a week. Now I do 35 hours a week

 

[Reginald]

Nice one.

Yeah I've found it's just as difficult to get full time hours as to get a job!

 

[Raven]

Indeed. Right well I am off to do some Yule shopping and then go home

You can get them well cheap, or just steal one. All good either way!
