Devilz Nite is a yearly made compilation album by different Underground Artists during Halloween.

WHAT IS DEVILZ NITE?



For those that don't know, Devilz Nite is an annual Horrorcore / Wickedshit compilation created by Menacide in 2003, and passed down to Crossworm in 2009. The Compilation was created as a free download to give back to the fans of the wicked underground. It is the first, foremost, and BEST wicked underground compilation series. Each year (usually at the beginning of August), the organizer(s) begin accepting submissions for the compilation and a cover art contest is also held. Every single artist is invited to submit.



The compilation was named by Menacide after the Detroit city and surrounding area's colloquial term for the night before Halloween on October 30th. Historically this night was known as Devil's Night because of the chaos and destruction that ensues across the city. WHAT IS HORRORCORE / WICKEDSHIT / THE WICKED UNDERGROUND?



The wicked underground is an umbrella term, describing a community consisting of multiple sub genres of dark hardcore hip hop that currently evolve and operate outside of the mainstrem. Regardless of what we call our own personal style or taste, the most important thing is that we're a community of artists and entertainers. Devilz Nite shows how raw we can really be with our individual styles as a whole, in our most wicked season of the year.
