Evil Eye and Jazzy: I have never seen the cottage before. The three bedroom is in a small fishing village. The cottage has a fenced off garden, but the three bedroom has a sheer drop on both sides of the garden. Don't worry Jazzy, we've got that covered.

@Boogie: Cottage sounds better to me. I don't want to sleep walk and fall off a cliff and kill myself!

@ EE: Its pretty steep, put it this way if either myself or the dogs jumped it you'd end up with broken bones..

@ Sci: The cottage sounds safer but obviously we'd fence off the three bedroom houses garden for everyone's safety.

Just been for the viewings on both properties and we really like the cottage. Only issue they have is 3 dogs, they only normally allow 2, so we'll have to wait and see.

Hello everyone!

@Boogie: I really hope you can get the cottage. Maybe if you offered to pay a little extra then they would allow the extra dog. Do you know when you might hear from them?

@ Jazzy: We are to ring them monday, as the lady we saw today is out of the office till monday.

Its a really nice place, the heating is powered by a wood burner. I like the idea. I like the look and feel of proper country cottages.

Its has really nice, good sized rooms and a nice size garden for the dogs to run around in.

Sounds lovely and the garden is a big plus for the dogs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you will be accepted. Is the cottage far from town?

@ Jazzy: The town near here is about 20mins away. I hope we get accepted too. If it comes to it, we'll take one of the dogs back to the rescue kernels we help out at. I may ask my mum if she'd like to have one of them.

Oh no, I hope it doesn't come down to having to give up one of your dogs! That's just terrible if that has to happen.

Sometimes if you just offer a little more money then the owner usually will allow the extra dog. Is there no way that you can make this offer?

@ Jazzy: Im not sure.. its rented property through a local estate agent. They normally only allow two dogs. The lady we saw said she'll talk to her colleagues and let us know on monday. So we'll have to wait and see.. If she could, i wouldn't mind my mum having one of them, but i can't see her taking one.

Have you called your mum and asked her? How about your sister-in-law, would she be able to take one? Let me ask you, which one would you give up?

@ Jazzy: Just spoken to my mum and she said if rush comes to shove she'll take Skipper off our hands. Got take him down my parents at new year and see how my mothers other dog is with him.
