Yeah, I guess that is still exciting... I enjoy watching the ball drop every year. I think I've been doing it since 1997, I think. Either 97 or 98... can't remember.

The police in our town are going to be out in full force. Check points on every street. Drunk drivers everywhere..

I imagine there are a lot of drunk people acting like idiots in my town. Luckily the living room on this house is at the back, by the garden, so we wont be able to hear them

Yeah my daughter's mom is going to her friends house. She is friends with another couple who has kids the same age.

I will be calling to make sure they made it home safe. Its not a good night to be driving.

Last year there was a shooting right by where I grew up. That's really rare in my town thankfully. The idiot shot himself twice, by accident
