Glad that got sorted out. Hope the laptop battery is fully charged!

I can't be doing with drama any more.. Just because I see someone else's comment about someone as something else, they get all uptight about it and leave the forum!

What's the matter with a little debate these days??

Just because I don't agree with them, doesn't mean I'm being nasty or horrible towards someone, surely?

I'd read 50 comics for a Hot Pocket. And Boogie, sadly some are a bit too sensitive at times.

@Boogie: Debates can be fun but few people know how to debate effectively. You need to take your stand and be able to backup any comments you make. More times than I care to count, people start a personal attack instead of attacking the subject of the debate. If you have no knowledge about a debate topic, then I say STAY OUT!

I agree with what Jazzy said. And ah lol, I see EE! It had A Bronx Tale on that list. Fairly enjoyable movie.

I wasn't personally attacking the person, I was simply standing up for someone I have met face to face and no his personality and what he's like as a person. I wouldn't get involved into a debate unless I was passionate about it, which this topic, I was. It was someone I liked and the posts - seemed in my mind - like they were bashing him or his sexuality.

I by no means was talking about you. I was speaking in general what I have seen happen and it's happened to me as well. Sometimes people are too emotionally involved with the debate topic that they no longer can stay on track. The only way to win a debate is by stating facts and not let emotions take over. Stick to the debate topic and get ready to backup any facts you have stated. Only then will you have an edge to winning the debate. Just remember, everyone has a right to their opinion but that doesn't necessarily make their opinion right.
