Just let Indie run for a little while and spoke to my brother, who phoned me about tomorrow, on the phone.

I feel happy now I've spoken to my brother and he hasn't forgotten about our arrangement for tomorrow.

Just got back from my driving lesson. Decided to switch to an auto car. So much better. Gears And the clutch weren't working out for me.

Auto is a lot more easy so you should get on with that OK

I learned on a standard shift and damn near gave myself whiplash!

Very difficult to master but once I did, I found it hard to drive an automatic. I kept pressing the brake pedal thinking it was the clutch!

Glad you were able to switch to auto.

I passed my driving test in a manual gear car & have driven lots of different gear cars, but also have had a few Auto cars & will never go back now as love auto as so much easier, especially if knees or things give you jip...

@Alan: I agree that auto is so much easier. Gets pretty tiring when you are stuck in stop and go traffic while driving a manual.
