This weekend has been utter s***e so far, last night my xbox went wrong, but I have now managed to fix it. I get a letter through yesterday from the company I work for stating that I am only going to get 2 days sick pay for the 10 days I was off for even though I have handed in a sick note. AND THEN!! I turn my laptop on and a virus gets through and wrecks it!
I've had my laptop for just over a year and I now can't find my receipt. 2 weeks ago we had a major clear out in the house and I am wondering if it has accidently been binned. I'm just hoping that whatever destroyed my laptop hasn't found any info on there like bank details, I'm sure there wasn't anything on there though.
Got to go to PC World once dad gets home from work to see if they can do anything, but I got onto the system settings before it crashes (It will start up but then dies) and it came up with Hardware failure, so I think it may result in a new laptop.... really can't afford one at the moment!

Why this is my argument, what is the point in me having to get a sick note if i'm not going to get paid. Apparently I've had 12 days out of my 10 allowance for 3 months off sick, but 10 days was due to wisdom teeth. They knew I was going in for it. And it takes time to heal. I couldn't eat for 2 weeks let alone work. Also, because i've had more than my allowance I have now been put on 3 months probation... What a load of cobblers!!!
I am using Norton. I have it on the main computer as it came with it, it is free to add one or two more computers to the protection. To be fair, Norton did pick it up but I closed the pop up to open up the main programme and as soon as i clicked to close the pop up but laptop just froze. I had to take the battery out as I couldn't even turn it off. Started it back up and then it just crashes every time.
Will see what the techies say at the store. It've had it just over a year now so the garantee might have ran out :/
