So how have you been?
+Jazzy said:Hello there! Sorry to hear about this tremor. Have you always had this or is it something new?
S.A.Y.D.L said:Always had it but it's got worse.
S.A.Y.D.L said:No as i've not played it properly for a year or so.
This tremor is progressive though, and its been alot worse than before over the past 6 months or so. To the point were I struggle to write :/
S.A.Y.D.L said:Nope, I don't really see what the docs can do, I don't have any other problems relating to it.
I've read alot about it and people with an essential tremor don't just get it in there arms and hands, but they're head, tongue, and legs. My head twitches sometimes uncontrollably but it's only hands and arms that can be a problem.
I know ETs are quite common and I don't want to have to take drugs so i've never thought of bothering a doctor.
S.A.Y.D.L said:Won't get anywhere then, The cause of ETs are unknown![]()
If an essential tremor occurs in more than one member of a family, it is called a familial tremor. This type of essential tremor is passed down through families (inherited), which suggests that genes play a role in its cause.
My dads hands shook a little when he was younger, but nothing like mine do. His hands don't shake anymore.
S.A.Y.D.L said:Yea I guess so.
I've been looking at some herbal stuff called TremorSooth, or something like that. Sounds quite good and has good ratings, I might see if some of the shops in Norwich sell it. Should think Holland & Barrett would do something similar.
I've also bought a pair of those hand grip things to see if strengthening my forearm muscles helps stop the shakes.
