I've heard marijuana is literally safer than water, in that you can only drink a certain amount of water without drowning your lungs but to oversmoke pot you'd have to smoke like at least twice your body weight.

Oh hell, I enjoy my drinks too, no doubt! But you have to admit that there are way worse repercussions from booze than there are from pot. Drunk driving being one of them.

I totally agree, but I feel like many pot supporters feel like they have to compare its safety to something that they also probably like which is completely legal, and I hate they probably have to. I just wish people could easily enjoy both things. It's not like pot's like meth or crack.

Problem is I despise all of those, lol. I have to listen to the same 2 or 3 songs by each band over and over because I work in a place that only gets radio coverage from two stations, both of which just play the same dullard, soulless slush again and again. There's plenty of better bands, but they don't conform to;



A.) Coddling the masses with endless songs about love and loss

B.)Involve black people talking about how much money they have/how many women they have sex with

C.) I'm so over my ex-partner, so I'm writing a song about them to prove it



Bands that in my opinion are far better than the generic radio crap, and are British;

Unfortunately it seems hardly anyone has heard of them. We Are The Ocean only recently became famous with their latest album, despite it being their second album, and overall fourth record (two extended plays and an album).



It doesn't help that I prefer heavier music, which means most radio stations won't play it anyway because it's offensive. Yet they play r&b songs about getting drunk and fucking people, because it's not written in that form, and the main target audience is comprised of idiots.

I'unno, while I do like most of your popularish bands that I've heard, much of the ones over here are so...disposable. Everything sounds the same here too, in a bad way. If I were British too I might feel the same there but...blegh. Just weird how that works lol. Terribly confused now by this...At least there's INTERNET radio. It's a shame you can't listen to Last.fm or Pandora at work. =\

Who should give a shit? Especially if you have earbuds/headphones so that no one else can hear it. Working without one's music is probably like...walking a dog with rabies? I'm not good at comparing things but you get the point. lol.
