Ear infections are so very painful. I used to get swimmers ear when I was younger. I can remember not being able to sleep and I just wanted to blow my brains out at one point. I now wear ear plugs whenever I swim and thank goodness, have not had swimmers ear again. I feel your pain, believe me!

Just went back to the docs incase I needed to be referred to the hospital. Both my ear drums collapsed when I was about 13 or 14, but I can't remember the pain, I know I was in agony as I screamed the hospital down lol. Anyway, doc says I just need to finish my antibiotics and then he'll see me again. Pretty useless really, had a look in my ear but couldn't see anything because of the gunk. Made no attempt to clean it. So just have to suffer and hope it goes over the weekend, so I can go back to work Monday.

Surprised he didn't flush the gunk out of your ear. It's probably the pressure of the gunk causing so much pain. But, heck, he's the Doc and not me. Just hope you feel better soon!

Yea, feels better when i can drain some out. Any way enough yucky talk. The good news is i've only taken 2 lots of painkillers today, so must be getting better.

Whos (UK folks) watching Murray on the Tennis?

Lost power for an hour. Glad it was only an hour as it's very

here today.

Rain is still falling.. Has been since about 2pm yesterday. We're currently under a RED flag warning.. Its getting really bad here.. I think we're going to have very little staff and customers today.. Skeleton staff I think. A lot of the guys are travelling from out of Seaton and Beer ( Seaton being where the store is located ) and a lot of the roads away from here are closed..

Its going to be a loooooooong day!

Red flag on the Formula 1 qualifying too because of the rain, think they should of just kept going, only 6 mins left on the clock. Lots of cars went off but now they have to deal with massive puddles on the track when they do go out again :/ Drivers could have gone back into the pits if they thought there was to much danger. Wouldn't get all this faffing around in the BTCC!

Surprised with a red flag warning, they didn't decide to just close the store. No job is worth risking your life.

For the safety of the drivers, they did the right thing.

Seaton doesn't flood around where the store is.

There were rather a few of them working today, so I think the majority of us made it in to work. They gave us a thank you note on the staff room door and a free cream muffin each for making it to work.

Its not a lot, but its the thought that counts.
