Finished work at 7pm tonight, stayed on an extra 15 mins to help out on checkouts as it was hectic. Went out for a meal with Alan. Only been home about 20mins.

Hello there Sis! Seems like you guys are getting hit by a heat wave. 80F here in the U.S. is not considered hot. My weather lately has been in the mid-high 90's and very humid.
Hope your shift goes by quickly for you!

Hey there guys, work at 5, but its still a few hours away yet, so I can post around here till I have to leave for work.
Well great start to the weekend. Text the guy I was meeting to say my bus didn't show up and that I was abit late getting to the pub, he then text me saying he was stuck in Ely, trains were cancelled and he'd have to be getting a bus to Norwich! I got to the pub about 4:45pm he then text me again saying he'd 'hopefully' get into Norwich for 6ish - 6:30ish. Then be getting a taxi to the pub. so would have got there about 7pm. That's over 2 hours I would have had to wait.
He also wanted to watch the Olympic ceremony and my mum goes out at 8 ish so I had to be back home at 7:30 to keep an ear out for my stepdad, if he needs me.. So had to cancel the meeting!
Bit annoyed as he knew that I was leaving work at 4, he asked me enough times! and yet he turns around saying 'Oh I didn't know you were leaving so early' WTF?!?!

Killer Hurts were amazing last night, but to make my weekend even more **** , my right ear has flared up again :'( Damn infection will not clear up 100%
