Very interesting but I would run for my life if I saw a bunch of bats flying around.

What kind of bits did you get? Got a picture yet with your personalized plates?

i doubt that. most bats are really wonderful creatures and they eat a lot of bugs that would otherwise be chewing on you or your crops.. the vampire bat doesn't suck human blood. they feed on cattle and horses.

Amazing that they don't run out of food.

I was thinking the same thing after I read the article. I just can't imagine that many bats all in one location.

Hey there guys!

Got my little man, Skipper some squeaky toys to play with while he's stuck in his crate, recovering. He'll be restricted rest for another few weeks yet, and after that, when his 6 weeks is up, we can up his walking distance, but he's still to rest as much as possible. Its going to be a good few months till he's able to go back to what he used to do.

i'm back, but only for a little bit to see if anybody posted anything to me. i don't have anything for y'all right now.

i have to focus on either finding some new roommates to help me pick up my old roommate's lease or someplace else to go immediately and am in the completely wrong frame of mind for putting something together for y'all.

O.o That's a lot of bats... what were they all doing there?

they nest in crevices under the bridge and come swarming out at dusk every night. it's one of those daily sunset ritual tourist attractions, like venice beach in california or mallory square on key west.

bat's nest in tight clusters and that's a good sized cave for them right over a huge food source. they estimate about 3/4 of a million live there.

when i lived further east in a more rural area, abandoned mobile homes would get several thousand of them up in there sleeping and come swarming out of them at dusk too, to hunt bugs along the creek.

He's just sulking and that's normal because he's used to being out and about. He'll eat when he gets hungry enough.

Bah, went to bed early and woke up kinda early.

What time did you go to bed and what time did you wake up?

Whatever you do, don't move under that bat bridge! Only kidding. Hope things get sorted real soon for you!

Took him out front the stretch his legs and stuff. He's just eaten a bit of his dinner. Going to take him out in the car tomorrow, sit at a picnic bench, take him a blanket to lie on and give him a treat to eat. Just going to try and get him out of the house and sit around somewhere nice and quiet with him.

Anything to make him happy.
