I don't mind being in or out. Nor do I mind if the power goes out. I enjoy storms.

They can be quite soothing, yes.Eghean said:I like gusting winds.

Isn't it a bit early for dinner? (And late for lunch?)+Jazzy said:I think it would be a good idea to feed myself and all my animals first.

Of course you should get up for food![]()
Evil Eye said:How are you keeping Miss Piggy and Midnight warm in this weather?
+Jazzy said:Not even if you lose power for 17 hours like I did last time? No heat, no electric, no...wait!!!! I do have Pringles!
Are you sure? The fridge wouldn't work...Eghean said:I don't mind being without electricity for a while; 3 days would be a good rest for my mind.
Eghean said:And Jaz, dear, would I be getting my Pringles back any time soon?

Eghean said:Alright. I'll just buy myself another can. You can keep that one.
+Jazzy said:Better not bring it in here because I'll snatch it from you!
Stormrider said:Yesterday and last night we got double the amount of snow we had last week! Still trundled into work though, no falling on my arse with my shoe chains![]()
I fell on my arse last week. Glad no one saw me. One crack is enough, I don't need two.
Did get stuck in my car Saturday afternoon, thought I won't drop my mum off down the hill, she can walk down it and i'll turn the car round at the top..... Well I turn it half way and get stuck!! Took me about 10 mins and a 50 point turn to get the car out!!
Glad you were able to get the car out. I bought a 50lb. bag of cheap cat litter. I keep it in my trunk. I've used it before to throw under the tires for traction. It works great!
Someone at work did have a car slide into him though, buggered his knees up.
That's a shame and hope his knees heal quickly.
And some poor lady fell over on the ice and broke her hip![]()
This is my worst fear. I fell on ice once and broke my right ankle and left wrist. That was bad enough. I can't imagine the pain of breaking a hip. This poor woman!
Supposed to get more snow later today and tonight.
Better you than me!
