I got to the doctor after about an hour of waiting, and what befell me was something of sheer beauty. Yeah, it's broken, is what he said, and that was it, he gave me nothing at all for it which is fine, but I waited a fucking hour for that three words.

I'm totally convinced now that bad things come in 3's:

1. I've been sick for days now and seems like there's no end to it
   
2. We are going to get blasted with a major snow storm tomorrow +14 inches
   
3. My dear cat, Babe, went into eternal sleep this afternoon.

Not sure her exact age. I found Babe at the end of my driveway. She was inside a cardboard box and it was dead of Winter. I was shocked to open the box a find a beautiful cat looking up at me. I took her to the vet to have her checked for fleas and had her shots updated before I brought her inside my house. That was 7 years ago. I'm not sure, however, how old she was when I found her. She was not a kitten, yet she wasn't an older cat either. The vet estimated yesterday that Babe was between 10 - 15 years old.

I had to buy a splint from CVS actually.

All the time, money and effort spent to see a doctor and they can't even splint the damn finger. Something very wrong with this picture!

As for me, I slept basically the entire day away yesterday, but I am happy to say that I did have a productive one today. Not productive because of me, mind you, but one of my online-friends helped me get my HD-PVR recording, and ready for capturing video-game footage.

And, there's this girl I would ask out that shows up at the store every so often. But the fact that I keep forgetting what her name is kind of puts that idea on pause.
