Well, following the bad things that have happened this weekend, that was the quickest Redwings visit i've ever made!! It's shut, Only open Friday - Monday.

Aww, that's a shame it's closed. How are you feeling today?

Yea, I'm back to normal now, just being abit careful on what I eat. Back to work for tomorrow morning, Hospital in the afternoon for consultants appointment for my shakes.

Do you have to go see the boss lady because you've been out sick? Hope you get some good news on how to treat the shakes.

I've not been out sick, It was over bank holiday and then I had 2 days off as holiday.

Pretty certain the doc will listen to the problems and then ask to see me again in 6 months.

What an awful thing to happen when you finally get time away from your crappy job!

So...so far, no one has been able to figure out what's causing the shakes?

I've only seen 1 doctor once regarding them. I've been waiting almost 5 months for this appointment. I'm guessing if he doesn't think it is serious like MS or Parkinsons then he'll just book another appointment in 6 months. It's then up to me to decide if I want to pay for a private scan.

Oh for crap sake! This has been going on way too long and no one is testing why. This just pisses me off to no end that YOU would have to pay for a scan. What the hell is wrong with this picture folks?????

If I were you, I would play it up to the max and tell this arsehole doctor that it's starting to interfere with your daily activities.

Good News!

It's nothing serious. Not MS or Parkinsons. Just an Essential Tremor.

Doctor was very good, sent me for another bloodtest to check for something else - not sure what it was but was only one tube thing instead of the usual 4 or 5 so not worrying about it.

Is going to give me Beta Blockers, which I thought he might of done. Either to be taken daily or when I need them. Advised on daily as it also stops the migraines aswell.

Said that everybody shakes but is not that noticable on most people, however some like me have exaggerated shakes - Essential Tremor.

I'll have it all my life, but it's not life threatening, just a bloody nuisance. And it will get worse as I get older.

So now I can go back to taking the rest of my tablets for a week till I get my results next week and get on with my life!
