These days when you only get 2-4 hrs sleep max. What to do next. hmm...

Why don't you sleep?

Who needs sleep anyways? Plus I allow my wife to get all the sleep while I'm up with the babies. I'm just nice like that. :D

I applied for a job in IT a few days ago. Today I got an email back, saying they can't open the file format I sent my CV in. No wonder they're looking for an assistant >_>

What kind of position in IT. I'm majoring in IT in College right now. In my third year so far.

It's a broad position. Working for a small company as their general tech support, handling their website, email system, data entry etc. Effectively anything that involves a computer will involve me, assuming I get the position.

First order of business will be upgrading it >_> from the sounds of it their system is terrible xD

Well good luck to you in getting the position.

Hello everyone!

Had class all day today and I'm tired now. Have one more class tomorrow but that's only a few hours in the morning. Getting recertified for the water rescue team. Thank goodness the water is fairly warm.

 What sort of file was it?

.odt. Since I don't feel like paying £110 to buy Microsoft Office, the freeware equivalent OpenOffice.org is a good replacement.

Can't blame you for that.
WordPad can open those and I'm pretty sure it does so by default. Sad state of affairs indeed.

Hello!

Sorry I haven't been here for a few days. I moved from my apartment to a rental house. It's nice having a yard and I'm closer to my job too.

Hope you're all doing well.

Hello KaPOWitsChris!

It is very nice and so are the neighbors. It's so different than living in a small apartment. The apartment I was in was very small. The neighbors above me were loud and they blasted music into the night. I'm happy to be away from them.

I've never known anything other than living in a house :p I wouldn't swap it for anything though, but the day will come when I have to move out and probably into an apartment :(

The transition from an apartment to a house is much easier than the other way around in my opinion. Would you be willing to perhaps have roommates to share the cost of renting a house versus renting an apartment on your own?
