People get lighthouse tattoos for Guidance.

But mine has a deeper meaning. I thought of a rough design during my downer days and I had alot of them recently, drinking too much, being miserable, isolating myself. 2 months of feeling like whats the point!? (These days my depression comes in waves - pardon the pun) I wanted this because I can now look at my tatt and see that there is light at the end of the tunnel and I will get through it.
The waves and lightning/storm represent all the crap thats happened to me, all the times I've felt like it's overwhelming me, but the lighthouse always stands strong. And that's pretty much what it means to me. No matter what this life throws at me I will remain strong and I will prevail.

Sounds like a great back story for your tattoo! I like it.

Hello everyone!

Nice cool morning. Midnight and I went for a long ride. Saw some wild turkeys up on the ridge. Man, those things are huge and they make a lot of noise. Hope they stay on the ridge and don't come down into my yard.

Linework was fine, feels like a cat scratch on sunburn. Shading niggled in places and tickled in others. Right at the end though it was starting to get uncomfortable, I think he was going over the same bit and that really started to hurt.
That pic was taken by my tattooist right after it was done which is why it looks so red.

The pain wasn't actually my problem it was my shakes, especially the last part of the shading I just couldn't stop trembling,

Now it is still quite red, it's really swollen and sore, and round the bottom/waves there is a rather large bruise developing.
Most of all it's in an awkward place, keep catching it.

Ive seen zombies eat animals in movies and tv shows, so I suppose meerkats could eat other species too.

Hello everyone!

I'm wondering what the Crows find so interesting about my yard. Gosh, there are at least 15 of them and they sure are noisy. Some are pecking the lawn and some are perched high up in the one old tree I have. Beautiful birds but they need to turn the volume down!

Just played my guitar for 2 hours. Good old practice, very careful not to catch my tatt though. Got 2 massive bruises forming, ohh well they just go with my collection of body bruises lol.

Now in a Volbeat/drinking mood Yay for Whiskey!!!
