Kuji City sounds like a fascinating place. They sent about 400 kids from Australia and another 200 from SE-Asian countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand etc) and I was one of the lucky ones and did a week in a nice place named Kuji City and then had a week of homestay near Mt. Fuji.

No, but we got to speak to the fishermen who captained their boats through the waves of the tsunami, which was incredible.
