My favorite place! As much as possible!
I normally go to the one at the QV Building in Melbourne's city center. :D

looks like some amazing food...

You're in the other Melbourne? No way!
I knew we were like in sync somehow. :P

Melbourne, Florida?
I've only just found out it exists, and would love to visit to draw comparisons between the two. :P

Melbourne, Australia is pretty cool. Graffiti is illegal, but socially accepted. Best coffee in the world. A restaurant where you 'pay what you feel'.
It's got character, that's for sure.

I was in San Francisco like a week or two ago. One of my friends lives there.

melbourne, florida is beautiful...

I still haven't been to Alcatraz despite the fact that I have been to SF a bazillion times. One time I took a boat ride around it though.

I wiki'd it after my post.
Only 76,000 people!?

A quieter, peacefuler Melbourne. <3
(We have 4-effing-million.)

Does it look inescapable?

it is peaceful but it's been attracting people from all over the country and world, and of course crime follows...

but all-in-all, a great place and very peaceful and beautiful... :)

For the most part, but the mainland is just a short swim away.

I've been to Seattle toooo

So as someone who's been there you'd say it may be plausible those three escapees that were never found MAY have made it to land? :D

+Freezy: Same.

Seattle looks great at night! Would love to, someday.
Maybe I need to do a US tour? :P

My city <3

During the week it dies off a bit at night, but on weekends it's 24 hour.
They recently extended trading hours for retailers Mon-Fri so it is getting busier (from 5.30PM closing time, to 7.00PM. It'll probably extend again soon.) :)
That's for the smaller ones, though. All the larger ones are open quite late, if not 24 hour.

Population grows at a steady 100,000 or so people a year at the moment.
Hugely multicultural, multiethnic, multireligious. (And this may only interest me, but huge Muslim community/Islamic resources.)

With Disneyworld. :D

You know, my wife and I are hoping to head to the US to see family maybe in 2016.
Might tour around a bit and see some of Florida.

you should if you can, but there's so much here and to do so make a plan and do some research...

See how we go, and the budget. :)
We definitely have to go to Idaho, which is where we have family.

...I fear Idaho is a boring-er state, though?
