Flew by today and Christmas is over for me and my family. Just...idk this year. I just didn't feel Christmas this year at all. I hardly watched Christmas movies this year. I listened to Christmas music at least. I just didn't really feel the spirit this year. I feel like the magic is lost in me. It just...sucks. Christmas to me has not been the same for many years now. Being an adult it just is not there for me. I miss actually getting surprised by presents.
That’s what happens. Christmas is for the kids usually. For the rest of us it’s just day to chillax, have a good meal and visit with loved ones.
Yep, it truly seems to be that way. I am happy to get gifts still even if they are not as good or great as when I was a child.
Yes enjoy it, be thankful you have people in your life to give you gifts in the first place
